Have you ever wondered how Nat Geo Wild or a David Attenborough documentary can get such great action of the Wildlife? Filmmakers, and professional photographers that work for Nat Geo and other Wildlife TV networks like BBC, have what's called an "off-road " licence. This enables them to go anywhere at any time. The special licence enables the holders to go off-road and places no other vehicles can go. This Safari package has just that. For the 5 days in the Masai Mara (only) we have an unrestricted licence that enables us to get right up close and ahead of the crowds. You won't miss that epic shot on this tour as we get right in and follow the action.

This photographic tour also covers Kenya's brilliant Amboseli national park with breathtaking photo opportunities of Mt Kilimanjaro and Africa's largest tusk elephants. We visit the Nairobi national park with over 100 Rhinos and lots of Lions. A visit to the giraffe centre where you can film giraffes as you feed them, plus David Sheldrick Elephant orphanage. Walk on foot with Giraffe, Zebra and waterbuck in the grounds of Sopa lodge Lake Naivasha, before we head out on a boat safari for excellent hippo and birdlife photography session on Lake Naivasha. 

This trip also offers night game drives and walking safari with the Masai warriors.

When you arrive at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport we will greet you with a warm welcome before transferring you to Intercontinental where we will enjoy a good night’s rest before our safari really begins. Overnight is at the Intercontinental Hotel on Bed and Breakfast basis.

Over breakfast, we depart for Amboseli National Park. You will have an en-route game drive to the Kibo Safari Camp for lunch and check-in. Later in the afternoon, we proceed for the first game drive until sunset. Dinner and overnight at Kibo Safari Camp.

Full day game drive in Amboseli concentrating on the dried grounds of Lake Amboseli where we hope to see large elephant herds amassing and if it is a clear day, we'll have the opportunity to take spectacular photographs with Mount Kilimanjaro in the background.

After breakfast, we depart for Nairobi to arrive in time for lunch at the Giraffe Centre. Great place to photograph the endangered Rothschild Giraffes up close and personal. We then proceed for an Afternoon Game Drive in Nairobi National Park. Definitely a unique experience of photographing wild animals with cityscape backgrounds. This park offers fantastic rhino, lion and giraffe sightings as well as many, many other animals. Overnight at Intercontinental.

After breakfast, we check out then depart for Lake Naivasha, experience a scenic drive up to the heartwarming Lake Naivasha Sopa Lodge. The lake has over 400 bird species and a large population of hippo. We check-in at the amazing Sopa lodge Naivasha, and some Lunch, we take a walking safari in the Lodge's gardens. We will have a chance to interact with Giraffe, Waterbuck, and Zebra. Amazing experience to get up close and personal with these wild but tame animals. A lodge guide will then take us to the Lake edge on foot to see and hear the Hippos in the not too far distance. Dinner and overnight at the Sopa Lodge.

After breakfast, we depart Lake Naivasha with a boat Safari. Here we can find over 450 different bird species as well as the African Fish Eagle, which can be seen and heard throughout the lake. The boat ride also takes us past the hundreds of Hippo that reside in the Lake. By late morning we depart for the Masai Mara arriving at Oldarpoi camp in time for lunch. After lunch, we depart for an afternoon game drive in the Masai Mara. Dinner and Overnight at Oldarpoi Mara Camp.

After breakfast, head to the Masai mara for a full day game drive. We head to one of the three Mara rivers if luck is on our side will get to experience the wildebeest crossing at a closer glance, We will stay close to the river in anticipation for the wildebeest arrival but we will also look for elephants, giraffe, leopard, zebra and much, much more. We will enjoy a picnic lunch and then continue with our epic game drive, photographing and enjoying nature all day long.

After breakfast, we set off for a walking safari to visit a Maasai village. Here you will enter a Maasai home and discover their way of everyday life. The Maasai warriors will perform a cultural dance, which offers an amazing cultural experience. The tour enables guests to interact with the locals and find out there way of living. We return to the camp for lunch and set out for an afternoon game drive in the Masai Mara. We return back to camp for a buffet dinner and a good night’s rest.

Experience a sunrise bush walk up Mount Oldarpoi just behind our wonderful camp. Enjoy the Spectacular views over Nashulai, The Maasai Mara and sometimes you can even see the Serengeti at a distance! .We return to the camp for relaxation and lunch before setting out for an afternoon game drive in the Masai Mara. We return back to camp for a buffet dinner and a good night’s rest.

After breakfast, we head to the Masai Mara for another full day game drive. We drive to one of the three Mara rivers hoping to see the wildebeest crossing which mostly occurs between July and late September. We will also stop to view and take photos of the Big Five we encounter. Masai Mara is rich in wildlife, including Hyena, elephants, giraffe, leopard, zebra and much, much more. We get to enjoy picnic lunch then continue with our epic game drive, viewing wildlife and enjoying nature all day long. Overnight is at Oldarpoi Mara Camp on Full Board Basis
