Pick up from Intercontinental where you are greeted by our guide. We then depart for the spectacular Samburu national park. We arrive at the luxury Samburu intrepid Lodge where we check in and enjoy lunch, before heading out for our first afternoon game drive. Famous home of the late conservationists George & Joy adamson, who raised Elsa the Lion. The Samburu people are also pastoral relatives of the Maasai people with their colourful clothing. The Samburu wilderness is raw and untouched and is home to the Maasai Lion, Tanzanian Cheetah, Leopard, Elephant, cape Buffalo, Hippos, Grevvy’s zebra and reticulated Giraffe and much more.Dinner and overnight at Samburu Intrepids.

After an early morning breakfast, we check out then depart for Lake Nakuru, we'll take a scenic drive up to the breath taking Lake Nakuru National Park. Wildlife is plentiful at Lake Nakuru and it is famous for its rhinos and myriads of flamingos that make the Lake look like a sea of pink. Arrive in time for lunch at Lake Nakuru lodge. Head out for an afternoon game drive to photograph some of Lake Nakuru's treasures such as the endemic Rothschild's giraffe, buffalo, antelope and hopefully even some rhino!

After break fast we check out from Lake Nakuru lodge, with a game drive en-route Lake Naivasha, the freshwater lake has over 400 bird species and a large population of hippo. We check in at beautiful Sopa lodge Naivasha, and some Lunch. After Lunch, we take leisure time to walk around the stunning grounds of the Sopa Resort. Walk amongst Zebra, waterbuck and resident Giraffe that reside inside the lodge. The lodge guards will escort guests to the Lake edge where hippos can be seen and heard resting in the Lake.

After early morning breakfast we Depart for Lake Naivasha for a boat safari. Experience Hippos resting in the water, and over 450 different bird species. Watch the African Fish Eagle as it hunts. After the 1.5hour boat ride we head to Africa’s premier Game Reserve, The Maasai mara. The scenic drive takes you on a journey through the Maasai villages with a check in to your tented camp, located just 5 minutes from the Main gate of the Mara. After check and Lunch we head out for our first game drive in Maasai mara in search of the big cats and plentiful wildlife that resides inside the Mara. We head back for a buffet dinner and a chat around the fire to discuss the days adventure.

After breakfast we head out for a full day game drive with packed Lunch. During the Months of July to October we head to the Mara river Main crossing point in search of some action and some wildebeest crossing the river or the 5 cheetah brothers of the Mara. We have lunch in the park and enjoy the sounds and sights of mother nature. We head back for a Sundowner and witness a true Maasai sunset which never fails to impress. Dinner at oldarpoi in the main dining area.

We depart at 6.15am for early morning game drive in Nashulai Maasai conservancy. We return by 9am for morning breakfast, before walking to a Maasai village and experience the Maasai culture. Here we can see how these amazing people have survived for hundreds of years without all the western essentials we take for granted. We enter the Maasai homes and go deep into their customs and experience a full Warrior dance. After the village tour we head back for Lunch at Oldarpoi. After Lunch we depart for a walking safari with the Masai warriors. We climb the small hill at the back of the camp where the warriors explain how they live off the land and herbs in the bush. Once we reach the top of the hill, we take time ot photograph the spectacular view of Masai mara and Serengeti in the background. We return to camp for refreshments before heading out for a late afternoon / Evening game drive in Nashulai Maasai conservcancy.. The late Afternoon offers great viewing as the predators begin to wake after resting in the day and we stay out to dark. Return to camp after a long day for overnight

After early morning breakfast we go for a walk to nearby School built through fund raisers from Real Masai Safari and Oldarpoi camp. For the fit traveler we have the option to climb a hill at the back of camp which overlooks the breathtaking Siana conservancy with Tanzania’s Serengeti in the background. Mid morning, we head back for the road trip back to Nairobi where our 9 day Safari adventure ends.
