Visit the David Sheldrick elephant orphanage

The David Sheldrick wildlife trust, Rescues orphaned elephants and rhinos with no hope of survival. Usually victims of human wildlife conflict or deceased mother’s, the calves are in terrible state of emaciation or distress when found. The trust cares and rehabilitates the milk dependant calves and promotes healing and emotional comfort. The keepers become their adopted family until they are ready to make the journey and transition back into the wild.
We have a few packages that take guests to the orphanage to witness the milk feeding and enjoy watching the calves play freely within close distance to guests.
