Visit three of Kenya's most scenic and wildlife-rich national parks to see nature at its best: the rugged wilderness of Meru, where you can also see the northern special big five animals; Lake Nakuru, which has abundant birdlife; and Masai Mara, where you can see Africa's special big five animals as well as the Masai people's unique and unspoiled culture. Catch the wildebeest migration, which takes place every year from late June to October.

Nairobi - Meru National Park

Depart Nairobi as early as 0800 hours for Meru driving through the central highland with leisure stops along the way for some views arriving in time for lunch. Afternoon; head for a game drive: enjoy tracking White Rhino, Cape Buffalo, Cheetah, Gerenuk, Beisa Oryx, Reticulated Giraffe, Grevy’s Zebra, Savannah Elephant, African Lion, and Leopard; across the vast Meru National Park. This park was also the former home of the famous Joy and George Adamson- of the “Born Free” book and film.

Full Day Meru National Park

After breakfast, leave for a full day game drive: wild animals to be spotted in Meru National Park include; large herds of Buffalo, Bushbuck, Eland, Duiker, Elephant, Gazelle, Giraffe, Genet, Hartebeest, Kudu, Impala, Waterbuck, and Gravy Zebra. You will also spot the Baboons, Jackal, Hyena, Kudu, Lion, Oryx, Mongoose, Oribi, Vervet Monkeys, and Warthogs. In addition, you may see Wild dogs, caracals, Bushbaby, Cheetah, Dikdik, Civet, Leopard, Bushpig, Otter, Porcupine, Black, and White Rhino. Along the rivers, you will see abundant Hippo and Crocodiles. Birdlife includes Peter’s fin foot which inhabits the Murera and Ura Rivers, the Pel’s Fishing Owl, Rollers, Bee-eaters, Kingfishers, Starlings, and numerous Weavers. Dinner and overnight at the camp.

Meru National Park - Lake Nakuru National Park

After breakfast, check out of camp and travel towards Lake Nakuru, stopping for lunch along the way because it is a long journey. After lunch, you will go to Lake Nakuru for an evening wildlife drive till sunset, where you will have the opportunity to see and photograph a variety of animals. You'll also go to the scenic observation hill, commonly known as the baboon cliff, from which you can overlook the lake from a vantage position. Following the game drives, you will be returned to camp for rest and dinner.

Lake Nakuru - Masai Mara Game Reserve

Eat an early breakfast, visit Lake Nakuru Park and then make your way to Masai Mara National Reserve. You will drive past the rift valley escarpment before turning west and stopping at the Masai town of Narok. Continue towards the Masai Mara, arriving in time for lunch then have an afternoon game drive. Mara holds on as one of the few places left on earth where wildlife still lives comparatively undisturbed, in the numbers that once roamed the plains and forests of Africa. Full Day Masai Mara Game Reserve

Enjoy early morning breakfast at the camp. After breakfast, head out for a full-day game drive into the wilderness and vast wild savannah. Enjoy searching the Big Five of Africa which are lions, leopards, rhinos, elephants, and buffalo with our very own skilled guide. Lunch will be served as a picnic lunch in the wild. Thereafter, enjoy game drives until late in the evening. Then return to the lodge/camp for dinner.

Mara - Nairobi

Check out of your hotel after enjoying your morning breakfast at leisure and depart for Nairobi. You may choose to visit a village of the Masai people to witness the singing and dancing that are part of their daily lives and sacred rituals. A glimpse into their homes and social structure is a poignant experience. ($30pp). Thereafter, proceed to Nairobi for your onwards travel arrangements.
