Nairobi - Amboseli

Depart Nairobi as early as 0800hours for Amboseli arriving in time for check-in and lunch at 1 pm. Freshen up in your room or soak in the fabulously constructed swimming pool overlooking the snowcapped Mt. Kilimanjaro. You will have an introductory late afternoon game drive at 4 pm in the park with a perfect view of Africa's highest mountain, Kilimanjaro. Against this spectacular setting, enormous herds of elephants graze, together with a kaleidoscope of other fantastic species such as lion, buffalo, cheetah, giraffe, gazelle, hippo, and wildebeest, to name a few. This is one of Africa's most heartbreaking views.

Full Day Amboseli National Park

Rising early for good views of Mount Kilimanjaro before clouds build up over the summit with packed lunch provided, an optional visit to a Masai village can be planned after breakfast. A visit reveals the singing and dancing that are part of their daily lives and sacred rituals. A glimpse into their homes and social structure is a poignant experience. Despite its changing habitat, Amboseli National Park is possibly the best wildlife area in the whole of Africa to experience elephants at close range. Less harassed by poachers, elephants feeding and bathing in the swamps will form the highlights of any safari.

Amboseli - Lake Nakuru

After breakfast, depart Amboseli for Lake Nakuru National Park, your next destination. You'll retrace your steps back to Nairobi, traveling through the Konza and Kapiti plains on the way. The lake and the adjacent woodlands and bushy grasslands make up the Lake Nakuru ecosystem. The park is home to a diverse range of wildlife, including flamingos (both greater and lesser) and other water birds. There are approximately 56 distinct kinds of mammals in the environment, including white rhinos, lions, buffaloes, and nearly 450 different species of terrestrial birds.

Lake Nakuru - Masai Mara

Eat an early breakfast, visit Lake Nakuru Park and then make your way to Masai Mara National Reserve. You will drive past the rift valley escarpment before turning west and stopping at the Masai town of Narok. Continue towards the Masai Mara, arriving in time for lunch then have an afternoon game drive. Mara holds on as one of the few places left on earth where wildlife still lives comparatively undisturbed, in the numbers that once roamed the plains and forests of Africa. As the northern tip of the vast Serengeti ecosystem, the Mara hosts the spectacular seasonal migration of many thousands of Wildebeest, Zebras, and attendant predators.

Full Day Masai Mara

Enjoy early morning breakfast at the camp. After breakfast, head out for a full-day game drive into the wilderness and vast wild savannah. Enjoy searching the Big Five of Africa which are lions, leopards, rhinos, elephants, and buffalo with our very own skilled guide. Lunch will be served as a picnic lunch in the wild. Thereafter, enjoy game drives until late in the evening. Then return to the lodge/camp for dinner.

Check out of your hotel after enjoying your morning breakfast at leisure and depart for Nairobi.
