Day by Day

Nairobi - Amboseli National Park

Depart Nairobi as early as 0800hours for Amboseli arriving in time for check-in and lunch at 1 pm. Freshen up in your room or soak in the fabulously constructed swimming pool overlooking the snowcapped Mt. Kilimanjaro. You will have an introductory late afternoon game drive at 4 pm in the park with a perfect view of Africa's highest mountain, Kilimanjaro. Against this spectacular setting, enormous herds of elephants graze, together with a kaleidoscope of other fantastic species such as lion, buffalo, cheetah, giraffe, gazelle, hippo, and wildebeest, to name a few. This is one of Africa's most heartbreaking views.

Zebra Plains Amboseli Camp

Begin your day with a substantial breakfast given at the camp, followed by a morning wildlife drive. At this time of the morning, you will marvel at the park's quiet beauty, which offers excellent wildlife viewing and photography. Families of elephants, lions, impalas, giraffes, gazelles, and other animals can be seen on the drive. You also have the option of visiting a Maasai traditional hamlet to witness a holy ceremony song and dance performance as well as learn about the Maasai people's dwellings and social organization, and how they live in harmony with nature and wildlife, at the village.

Amboseli National Park - Lake Naivasha

Wake up early and enjoy an early breakfast at 0600hrs. Check out and drive to Lake Naivasha. The lake is situated on the floor of the Great Rift Valley, surrounded by wooded and bushy grassland. Arrive on time for lunch at the lodge. Relax after lunch and later proceed to Crescent Island Game Sanctuary for a walking safari after which you may decide to take a boat ride to explore the Lake. Alternatively, you may also decide to visit Hell's Gate National Park where you explore the park on bikes.

Lake Naivasha - Masai Mara

Depart early morning for Masai Mara National Reserve. Arrive in time for lunch then have an afternoon game drive. Mara holds on as one of the few places left on earth where wildlife still lives comparatively undisturbed, in the numbers that once roamed the plains and forests of Africa. As the northern tip of the vast Serengeti ecosystem, the Mara hosts the spectacular seasonal migration of many thousands of Wildebeest, Zebras, and attendant predators.

Full Day Masai Mara Game Reserve

Enjoy early morning breakfast at the camp. After breakfast, head out for a full-day game drive into the wilderness and vast wild savannah. Enjoy searching the Big Five of Africa which are lions, leopards, rhinos, elephants, and buffalo with our very own skilled guide. Lunch will be served as a picnic lunch in the wild. Thereafter, enjoy game drives until late in the evening. Then return to the lodge/camp for dinner.

Masai Mara - Nairobi

Check out of your hotel after enjoying your morning breakfast at leisure and depart for Nairobi. You may choose to visit a village of the Masai people to witness the singing and dancing that are part of their daily lives and sacred rituals. A glimpse into their homes and social structure is a poignant experience. ($30pp). Thereafter, proceed to Nairobi for your onwards travel arrangements.
